I am Amanda Lipscomb. I teach special education, in the small group setting, at Moody Elementary School. Teaching is my passion! I truly believe that being a special education teacher is God's calling on my life. I have taught at Moody Elementary School for two years. Prior to coming to MES, I worked at Odenville Elementary and Odenville Intermediate School.

I am from Ragland, AL. I graduated from Ragland High School in 2008. After attending Jefferson State Community College for two years, I transferred to Jacksonville State University. I am currently a graduate student at the University of West Alabama, majoring in School Counseling.

My husband, Casey, is a special education teacher and wrestling/baseball coach at Ohatchee High School. We have two daughters, Callie and Caroline. We attend Golden Springs Baptist Church in Anniston, AL.

My goal as a teacher is to provide my students with a learning environment that is encouraging, challenging, and meets the needs individual needs of my students. I want to equip my students with the tools that will allow them to reach their full potential as learners.
